This holy river flows not only inside our heart but close to the hudge Shiva-Lingham, in the bammboo forest. Swami Vishwananda was looking to the fishes.

In a bamboo forest close to a small river this Shiva Lingham and other smaller temples can be venerated in the east of Mauritius.

As soon as we arrived at the lake, a family of monkeys was running around looking for some prasad.

In Grand-Bassin Swami Vishwananda met the Newcomers monkey who were happy to eat from his hand some fruits.

On the top of the Shiva temple you can admire the holy lake of Grand-Bassin. Swami Vishwnananda told us the story: “As there was only forest all around a monk had in a dream the vision of this place. He walked during three monthes to attain this lake.”

  Swami Vishwananda received from his father a lot of mango. They were the best I ever have eaten!
